Agartala, Feb 10: The last leg of campaign for the Tripura Assembly election is all set to witness a ‘high pitch battle’ as Prime Minister rendra Modi will revisit the State on February 15 which will be followed by a campaign by Congress president Rahul Gandhi on February 16. The State Administration expressed concern over the reports that both tiol leaders are planning to hold road shows in Agartala to reach out to the people. “If both political stalwarts will campaign, we will have to arrange for adequate security,” a security official said.
The VVIPs visit will not remain confined only to two top leaders as Union Fince Minister Arun Jaitly will be arriving on February 11 to release the BJP’s manifesto. However, on the same day Puducherry Chief Minister V rayasamy will arrive to release the Congress manifesto. Other dignitaries in the list include BJP president Amit Shah, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityath and party MP from Mathura and former dream girl of Bollywood Hema Malini, among others.
