High voltage power lines disconnected

DHUBRI, July 11: As the Brahmaputra and its tributaries are flowing above the danger level inundating low-lying areas in Dhubri district, Gauripur Electrical Division in Dhubri district  has disconnected  two 16 KVA and one 25 KVA DTRs of Kuntirchar-II village under Dhubri El. S/D and four 16 KVA DTRs of Ruwakuti village-I, II, III, IV under Golokganj El. S/D from today. The 11 KV line from Gutipara Pt-I to yer Alga GP, Mayer Char GP, Bayezer Alga GP, 11KV line from Kazaikata Pt-VI to yer Alga GP, Mayer Char GP and 11 KV line from Kodomtola Pt-II to Baburhat, whole Kazaikata GP, Gutipara all parts, Mahya Gowaler Char under Bilasipara El. Subdivision have also been  disconnected due to rise in water level.
