Higher Secondary section of school formally iugurated

mrup, Oct 13: BVFC Model High School, a premiere educatiol institution set up in 1969, has already added Higher Secondary section (both Arts and Science streams) to its cap from the current academic session, changing its identity as BVFC Model Higher Secondary School. To declare this very auspicious upgradation of the school officially, the school fraternity organized a grand iugural ceremony at the school complex recently.

 Noren Sonowal, MLA of 120 harkatia LAC, attended the ceremony as the chief guest and he formally declared the opening of the Higher Secondary section, amidst a large gathering of notable dignitaries, heads of local educatiol institutions, GMs and magers of local industries, chairman and members of school maging committee chairperson of mrup Town Committee, parents and guardians.

 A glittering cultural function presented by the school children mesmerized the gathering.  The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Sr Mercy Philips, councilor of education, Sacred Heart Province Tinsukia, Sr Mary Thomas, Superior, St. Mary’s Convent NHK, Sr. R  Sebastian, Principal of St. Mary’s H.S. School NHK and S. Goswami, SDO, harkatia.

Earlier, Sr. Lima Sebastain, Principal, BVFC Model H.S. School, welcomed the local MLA with a phulam gamosa. She also presented a brief and lucid speech reflecting the history and achievements of the school since its inception.
