Hindi Day observed

SHILLONG, Sept 15: The Border Security Force, Ftr HQ Shillong organized ‘Hindi Day’ on 14th Sept 2016. Officers and other members of the Border Security Force were present during the function.

The importance of Hindi was deliberated upon by various speakers emphasizing our tiol language as well as official language.

Hindi is on e of the most spoken language all over the world. It is the language of communication in almost all the parts of India. People easily understand and express their views in Hindi language as it have deep roots in the society.

During the celebrations Quiz, Noting / drafting, essay writing and typing competitions in Hindi were organized by BSF from 1st Sept to 15th Sept 2016 as per the directions of Indian Govt (Home ministry).

P K Dubey, Inspector General distributed prizes to the BSF personnel attaining first, second and third positions in these competitions and congratulated them.

The Inspector General said Hindi is our tiol language we need to promote its and give it’s due importance.

As the language makes a strong base for every tion for its connection among common masses so we should work in Hindi.

He stressed that as Borderman has proved its mettle in guarding the borders in the same way BSF will fulfil also the expectations of the common masses in other fields too.

The Inspector General requested all Officers to promote Hindi and encourage others also to work in Hindi.
