HNLC Cadre surrendered before police

SHILLONG, Oct 26: A Senior cadre of the proscribed Hynniewtrep tiol Liberation Council (HNLC) today surrendered before the Superintendent of Police (DSB), East Khasi Hills, District. The cadre has been identified as Edmund Nongsiej Mot (35) of Mawlai Wahumkhrah, Nongpdeng, Shillong. He joined the banned outfit in the year 2000. He surrendered without arms.
