HNLC cadre surrenders

SHILLONG, June 24: Another Hynniewtrep tiol Liberation Council (HNLC) cadre surrendered on Wednesday before the Superintendent of Police of East Khasi Hills district. The HNLC cadre has been identified as Khrawkupar Syiemlieh alias Shanbor alias Syiem of Umjei in West Khasi Hills district. He deposited demands notes and receipt books of the outfit. Interestingly, the receipt book which was recovered from him belongs to the Lions Sports Club and was also signed by the fince sectary of club P. Syiem.
