HNLC cadre, sympathiser held

Shillong, May 19: Meghalaya police on Monday afternoon arrested an HNLC cadre and an over ground worker. East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police (SP) Mariahom Kharkrang said following intelligence inputs about the presence of some HNLC cadres in Shillong, surveillance was increased in the city. On Monday at around 1 pm, the HNLC cadre was picked up from Mawlai Mawroh. The HNLC cadre has been identified as John Fishal Lyngkhoi (23). The over ground worker was identified as Roskin Phawa (55) of Umkiang Village.
