Hoarding war intensifies between AAP, BJP

New Delhi, August 1: The BJP’s Delhi unit on Saturday put up a series of hoardings across the tiol capital in which it criticised the Arvind Kejriwal-led government for spending Rs.526 crore for its advertisement campaign. In the hoardings, the Bharatiya Jata Party asked Chief Minister Kejriwal to answer “why have you wasted Rs.526 crore on publicity when this fund could be utilised to put up five lakh cameras for women’s security”. The BJP hoardings also said as many as “200 new schools and 50 new colleges can be opened with this money and people can get 2,000 new buses. “Five lakh people can get pension for one year and one lakh youth can get employment while 1,000 uuthorised colonies can get drinking water with that amount of money”. The development came after the Aam Aadmi Party government had installed hoardings asking Prime Minister rendra Modi not to intervene in its functioning. “Pradhanmantri sir, please! Delhi sarkar ko kam karne dijiye. Delhi sarkar theek kam kar rahi hai. (Prime minister sir, please let the Delhi government work. The Delhi government is working fine),” said the AAP’s hoardings.  (IANS)
