Home Guards to get die-in-harness facilit

Agartala, May 9: All categories of home guards including the Women home guards and Border Wing Home guards also get the benefit of die-in-harness. This was decided in a meeting of the state cabinet headed by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Monday. The cabinet has revoked its earlier decision taken in 2015 excluding the home guards from the facilities of die-in-harness.    The cabinet also decided that a divorcee woman will be treated as member of her parents and will be entitled for family pension.
