House gutted in Raha

Batadrava, April 19: A house belonging to Budhen Deka of Katahguri under Raha police station in gaon district was completely gutted in a major fire that broke out on Tuesday night. According to sources, property around worth Rs 2 lakh, including a Scooty, was burnt to ashes in the fire. The house caught fire when the family had gone to attend a programme near their village. As soon as the local people saw the fire they immediately informed the Raha fire unit and filly the flames were doused. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
