House looted

JORHAT, Oct 3: Property worth several lakhs was looted from a house in the Pulibor area in Jorhat when all the family members had gone to Sivasagar for two consecutive nights. A case has been registered at Pulibor Outpost as filed by the victim Parashmoni Bhattacharyya who works as an executive with Nissan Motors. Investigation, sources said, point at a conspiracy by investigating officer Makhan Saikia from the Pulibor Outpost, who is suspected to be in hands-in-glove with the robbers. A complaint has also been lodged to the Director General of Police, Assam over the negligence and sil’s pace of investigation.
