HPDCAPL-WAPCOS sign MoU to develop hydropower

ITAGAR, Aug 12: Hydropower Development Corporation of Aruchal Pradesh Limited (HDPCAL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with WAPCOS Ltd, New Delhi to develop more sustaible power in the state.

HPDCAPL Maging Director Toku Onuj and Chairman cum Maging Director WAPCOS Ltd R K Gupta have exchanged the signed copies of the MoU here on Wednesday.

Gupta assured the department that WAPCOS will explore and is committed to support the department in self sustained Hydropower Development in the state.

Toku Onuj assured to extend all support to the team of WAPCOS.

WAPCOS being a Central Government Organization under Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvetion, is a Mini Rat-I PSU, has been providing consultancy services to state and central government agencies in all facets of hydropower and infrastructure development not only in India but more than 40 countries abroad. With its expertise in Hydro Power and Infrastructure Sector, the state will be benefited in infrastructure development and assured power supply in every corner of the state.

Anupam Mishra, Chief General Mager along with AK Gahlot, Chief Engineer shouldered the responsibility for successful implementation of small to big hydropower projects in the state.

Uday Roman, Regiol Mager (North East) and Ms. Arpan Arora, Executive Corporate Relations will coordite the activities and explore all possibilities to support the state not only in Hydropower but in town planning, buildings, roads, hospitals, dispensaries, educatiol institute, tourism, flood protection, drinking water supply, sanitation and all other infrastructure development in Aruchal.
