Hriday bags gold in tiol shooting

GUWAHATI, Dec 16: Assam shooter Hriday Hazarika bagged gold medal in the Junior tiol Shooting Championship which concluded at Pune recently. Hriday, took part in the 10mts Air Rifle, scored 622.9 in the qualifying match and qualified for fil in all three events in Youth, Junior and Senior category. He was topped in Youth and Junior while bagged fifth in Senior in qualification match. In the fil he won Gold in Junior. He missed medal in youth by a mere 0.1 points. He also created new tiol record in youth category with 622.9 breaking his own record 621.5 set in 9th Asian Air Gun championship held in Tehran where he won a bronze medal in the team events.
