HS and HSLC rank holders of Mangaldai feted

MANGALDAI, June 13: Reiterating their commitment towards the society and to encourage the rank holder students, the Mangaldai branch of State Bank of India on Monday offered felicitation to two rank holder students of Mangaldai at a small function at the SBI office.

Eight  rank holder in the HSSLC examition in Commerce from Brilliant Academy, Bhaskar Singh and 16th rank holder in HSLC examition from Bhupendra rayan Dev Jatiya Vidyalaya of Mangaldai,  Nekib Javed were offered felicitation with a letter of citation, Bihuwan and an amount in cash.

Deputy General Mager of SBI, Dibrugarh Circle, Tilak Chandra Dhar, Assistant General Mager of SBI, Tezpur region, Premendra Kumar, Assistant General Mager of SBI, Mangaldai Main Branch, Abu Fazal Karim  and Mager, Persol Banking Division of SBI Mangaldai, Deben Baishya and all the staff of the branch attended the function to encourage both the rank holders. Fathers of both the meritorious students were also offered felicitation with a Bihuwan.

While appreciating the initiative of the SBI to felicitate the rank holders, president of premier non-government organization Crystal Vision-cum-senior media person Mayukh Goswami appealed to the SBI authority to adopt meritorious students from fincially backward section so that they could pursue their higher education without any hindrance.
