HS exam question paper leaked, AASU burns effigies

Golaghat, March 7: The continuous anomalies in conducting two major examitions in the State is creating sharp reaction and protests in different parts of the State. Amidst the issue of burning of HSLC examition answer scripts at Sankardev Semiry School in Jorhat, on Monday another incident jolted the students and parents. On Monday, the Higher Secondary (HS) fil exam for Biology was scheduled to be held. But the question paper was leaked before commencement of the exam and for that the exam was cancelled. This created sharp reaction as it is the second time after another paper of Physics was leaked a few days back and the exam was rescheduled to be held on March 17. For such anomalies of the Education Department of Assam, the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) Golaghat District Unit on Monday protested against the government and burnt the effigies of Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and State Education Minister Sarat Borkotoky and warned them not to play with the lives of the students.
