HSLC and HS students feted at Bhergaon

TANGLA, June 16: For the development of society the academic environment should prevail, students should educate themselves and work for the society. This was stated by Nrwson Boro, Deputy Speaker BTC while addressing meritorious students who passed this year’s HSLC and  HS examition.

Attending the programme as chief guest, Boro further exhorted the student community to build themselves as human resource in this competitive world. In the felicitation programme along with Mousumi Baruah, 8th position holder in HS Arts, Mohan Pradhan, 20th position holder and Shubam Patar, 14th position holder in the HSLC examition, 600 students who passed HSLC and HS examition were felicitated with gamosa and memento.

The programme was organized in joint collaboration of Bhergaon block BPF (Bodoland People’s Front), Bhergaon block BSU (Bodoland Students’ Union) and NRDS College, Khoirabari. The Deputy Speaker also iugurated the Pratap Basumatary Memorial Public Library which will be open to students of the area from next week, said Charan Daimairy, secretary of the library.
