HSPDP submits memorandum to Governor

SHILLONG, April 7: Leaders of HSPDP on Thursday submitted a memorandum to MS Rao, Principal Secretary to the Meghalaya Governor V Shanmugathan on the latest political imbroglio over the issue of parliamentary secretary. HSPDP leader Ardent Basaiamoit told newsmen here on Thursday that since they could not meet the Governor today so they have submitted the memorandum to the in this regard  to principal secretary. “We will apprise the Governor of this current situation and base on the latest development relating to this issue,” Basaiawmoit said adding that last year only the Calcutta High Court has struck this in West Bengal and if there is any move from the state government which is by force then the Governor must look into it.
