HSPDP’s Dkhar resigns from his post

SHILLONG, Jan 11: In wake of the recent suspension of Sohryngkham constituency MDC Pyniaid Sing Syiem for 2 years from HSPDP party for alleged anti-party activities on Tuesday, the party’s senior member, who is also the publicity secretary of HSPDP Dr Paul L Dkhar, resigned from his post.

In a letter submitted to the president of the party Ardent Miller Basaiawmoit, Dkhar stated that his resigtion from the party as publicity secretary of East Khasi Hills district is due to the unfavorable development recently in the party decision in suspending Pyniaid Sing Syiem from the party due to unfound reason. “I would like to tender my resigtion from today January 10, as the publicity secretary of East Khasi Hills District of the party due to the suspension of Pyniaid Sing Syiem,” Dhar said in the letter submitted to the HSPDP president.
