SHILLONG, March 29: The Hynniewtrep Student Union (HSU), central body on March 28, extended its presence in Thadlaskein, Jaintia hills, with the creation of a new Union Circle in the region. The creation of the new HSU circle was attended by Kyrshan Rymbai, president of the Union and W. Syngkon general secretary. The president of the Union welcomed 30 new members of the Circle and administered oath to newly elected president of the HSU Thadlaskein Circle, T. Sugni, Lambert Peterson Sajem general secretary, Beril Talang vice president, Fullmoon Shadap organising secretary, beside other Union workers. Speaking on the occasion, the HSU president said, “We hope that through the creation of this circle and the joining of new members into this organisation, will ultimate help in serving the interest of the people better.”
