HSU for fast track courts

SHILLONG, March 10: The Hynniewtrep Student Union (HSU), central body expressed the need to implement Fast Track Courts in the state, with an aim to easy the load off the District Court in delivering judgment and disposing of cases.

The Union observed that the implementation of Fast Track Courts in the state, with greatly benefit the people especially those coming from poor and underprivileged families.

In a statement issued on Friday by president of the Union, Kyrshan Rymbai said, “We are concern over the non-implementation of Fast Track Court in the state, as has been done in other parts of the country.”

According to him, in other states of the country in which Fast Track Court has been implemented, it has hugely benefited the public.
