Huge win for GCCC

GUWAHATI, March 7: Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre (GCCC) registered huge 9 wickets win against North East Royal club in the Servo 22nd Guwahati Challenge Trophy All Assam Cricket Tourment held at the Judges ground today. Chasing 36 runs to win Guwahati Cricket Coaching Centre reached the target in just 2.5 overs losing single wicket. Earlier a brilliant spell from Kon Urang (6-12) helped GCCC to bowl out North East Royal club for paltry 35 runs. Meanwhile, in the second game of the day Young Green club beat Samanya club by 20 runs. Elected to bat, Young Green club scored 158-5 in 20 overs. Manish Das played an unbeaten knock of 52 runs which came in 29 balls.The batsman hit five fours and one six during his unbeaten knock. Dilbar Khan (61no, 45 balls, 4X7, 6X3) tried his best to take Samanya Club to victory but his innings was not enough as the team maged to score 138-8 in 20 overs. Bidyut Tamuli (3-13) was the most successful bowler for Young Green Club
