Huge win for NFRSA

GUWAHATI, Dec 22: Barpeta restricted Guwahati to 170 in the first innings in Nuruddin Senior Inter District Cricket tourment match held at Goalpara today. Barpeta were 84-4 at sumps on day I. Elected to bat, Guwahati lost wickets on regular interval, thanks to a nice spell from Bikiran Das who picked up six wickets for 43 runs. Except Pritam Devth, no other batsmen contributed good score on the board. Pritam, who scored a half century, added 56 runs playing same number of balls and there are six hit to the fence. Barpeta played 45 overs today and lost four wickets on way to score 84 runs.

Meanwhile at gaon NFRSA defeated Tezpur by an innings and 44 runs today. Sekharjyoti Barman and Arlen Konwar collected four wickets each and helped NFRSA to bowl out Tezpur 180 in the second innings.
