Human Rights council warns opportunist people

SHILLONG, Nov 16: The Human Rights Council of India via the Secretary, in-charge, North eastern region, Dibishon Malai has issued a stern warning against opportunist people who are trying to misled and taking advantage of ignorant people with regards to the demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.  Lauding the Modi government for taking steps to eradicate corruption by means of demonetizing the Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, Malai, however, said the government of India has to find out quick ways and means to end the extreme hardship face by the common people because of this situation. He also said, “We urged the state government to give its full cooperation and to direct all the banks to find out quick measures and ways to ease the people while collecting and depositing their money.”
