Humrahi launches campaign on earthquake safety tips

SIVASAGAR, May 27: Humrahi, a social media group of Sivasagar town, in association with Sivasagar District Disaster Magement Authority, launched a campaign on safety tips during earthquakes on Friday.

The campaign was iugurated by Additiol Deputy Commissioner, Sivasagar, Palash Ranjan Gharphalia in presence of Pranjit Dutta, Deputy Controller, Civil Defense, Sivasagar and Project Officer, DDMA Rupamjyoti Bora, ward commissioner Preeti Pareek, and members of Humrahi Subham Agarwal, Sanjay Pareek and others in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner.

The campaign was aimed at focusing on awareness generation and better preparedness in terms of disaster risk magement among the masses. As part of the campaign, leaflets were distributed among the employees of the DC’s office and schools and colleges. An awareness van was also iugurated by ADC Gharphalia on the occasion.
