Hundreds join BJP

Itanagar, May 7: At least hundred-odd political workers from Bameng constituency of East Kameng district, led by Goruk Produng, joined the BJP on Sunday expressing their faith in the development agenda of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government.

“Today, as you have joined the largest political party in the world, you should work tirelessly for the betterment and development of the nation and the party with commitment,” State BJP president Tapir Gao said. Pordung, expressing faith in the party ideologies, pledged to work for the betterment of the society.

Arunachal Pradesh Hydro Power chairman Tungri Effa, Sports Authority of Arunachal vice chairman Doni Nich and BJP national membership convener Techi Necha and East Kameng BJP office bearers were present. This was stated in a BJP press release.
