Hundreds of samaritan turn out for Kampu Hollen

Itagar, June 27: Hundreds of citizen turned out in support of Kampu Hollen Orphage Seppa, under the theme “Rhythm for charity” organized by Bhuddast Event Magement, a group supported by the Green Aruchal and I love Aruchal which was held at Mostery premises near Shidharta hall here on Sunday.

Attending the charity event Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner, Sandeep Kumar Singh appealed to NGOs, well wishers and state government to help such genuine orphage for its progress in future.

“There should be at least one NGO or Organisation who can assist Kampu Hollen Orphage to accommodate orphan children,” he said and advised orphage to make proposal to seek corpus fund from the state government.

Papumpare DC Pooja Jain in her short speech also appreciated the organizing team for organizing such charity programme for a good cause.

Orphage, chairperson Renu Bengde expressed gratitude for every one turning out for cause of orphan children. Sharing her difficulties in looking after 25 children, Renu, appealed to likeminded people to support her cause.

Meanwhile, Rs. 59740/ was collected during the charity event. Numerous artistes and band groups performed voluntarily for the cause of the Orphage.
