Hunger strike by Ujoni Asom Muslim Kalyan Parishad activists

Jorhat, March 1: The Ujoni Asom Muslim Kalyan Parishad, Jorhat district committee staged a hunger strike in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Jorhat on Tuesday for various demands. They demanded land patta for BPL families in Chimora, Murmuriya and Bhagchung in Jorhat district. Later they were submitted memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner of Jorhat. About 50 members took part of the hunger strike.
