Husband kills wife at Orangajuli TE

TANGLA, Dec 2: The growing number of country liquior dens in tea garden areas of Udalguri district is leading to a number of heinous crimes. In yet another brutal incident, a women was murdered by her husband allegedly under the influence of alcohol at Orangajuli TE under Panery PS in Udalguri on Friday morning. Pada Orang (25) fatally hit his wife with a wooden stick over trivial matters on Friday morning. The deceased has been identified as Bijuli Orang (24) who immediately succumbed to her injuries. Panery Police immediately rushed the spot and arrested the accused husband. A case has been registered vide 107/17 under 302 IPC and further investigations are on, informed police.
