COMMISSIONING OF WATER SUPPLY SCHEME

SHILLONG, April 26: The Hynniewtrep Youth Council (HYC), Nongthliew circle on Wednesday met PHE Additiol Chief SK Blah and Chief Engineer M Allya to express their gratitude for filly commissioning the Umthlong water supply scheme.

A delegation of the Council led by its president Joplang Kharior visited the Public Health Engineering (PHE) department today.

After meeting the PHE officials, Kharior said, “We had raised the issue on numerous occasions asking the department to take action and provide water supply to the villages, however we are glad that this time round our demands are filly achieved.”
