I am suffering from a complex disease with no cure: Zubeen Garg

PATHSALA, Dec 28: Participating in a friendly football match organized by Bajali Hindu Yuba Chatra Parishad where Zubeen Friends’ Club and Bajali Prabin had a face-off at the Higher Secondary field, Pathsala in Barpeta district on Tuesday, Zubeen Garg scored a goal against Bajali Prabin.

Zubeen Garg said, “I am suffering from a complex disease that has no cure according to medical science. I am still alive and played today’s match with full spirit.” He further added, “I am not at all sad about this disease because the wishes of my people from Assam are always with me.”

Zubeen has not been doing too well in the recent days and was recently hospitalized when his health deteriorated during a performance in Raiganj, West Bengal. He was rushed to Raiganj District Hospital and was later shifted to North Bengal Hospital in Siliguri where his condition was declared stable.
