I,000 litres of condensed oil seized

DULIAJAN, April 1: A team of OIL security led by Sub-Inspector Prasan Dutta seized huge quantity of condensed oil in a Tata Sumo bearing registration no. AS06-G-1280 at Pipe Dalang, near harkatia Road on Wednesday. According to sources, five drums of condensed oil of 200-litre capacity were in the Tata Sumo that was on its way from Bhadoi Panchali to Duliajan. On suspicion, OIL security gave the sigl to stop the vehicle, but the driver of the Tata Sumo drove off to harkatia. OIL security team followed the vehicle and recovered 1,000 litres of condensed oil from the Tata Sumo. Duliajan police in this regard has lodged a case 121/15.
