Shillong, May 22: Sixty-eight IAF officers and their family members today undertook the historic and one of the most popular trekking routes in Meghalaya, the ‘David Scott’s Trail’ – the 16-km stretches from Ladmawphlang village to Mawphlang, in East Khasi Hills district.

The trekking was flagged off by Air Vice Marshal Sudhir Rai, of HQ EAC.

Adventure and sports activities invariably go hand-in-hand in the IAF way of life reinvigorating camaraderie and spirit-de-corps amongst air warriors.

The trek let the participants relive a slice of Meghalaya history while offering them a glimpse into the life of Khasi villagers amidst expansive meadows, cascading waterfalls and running streams.
