ID Basketball meet begins

GUWAHATI, Jan 9: Chaitanya Kumar Das Memorial 34th Senior Intrer District Basketball Championship got under way at the RG Baruah Sports complex here today. 14 teams in the men’s section and 11 teams in the girl’s section are participating in the tourment. Local MLA Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Vice Chairperson of Sports Authority of Assam Queen Oja and ADC Pulak Mahanta attended the iugural function which was held in the evening.
