Idequate staff at SBI, Kalaigaon causes concern

KALAIGAON, November 12: After announcement for demonetization of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes, the people of Kalaigaon rushed to the nearest banks like State Bank of India to deposit and exchange their old notes since the past three days.

But officials of this bank were allegedly uble to render proper service to such a large number of customers. Many customers have been uble to exchange or withdraw money as a consequence. Though Kalaigaon has a population of nearly 2 lakh, idequate staff is hampering work in this bank. According to Branch Mager of Kalaigaon SBI, there are only three staff members, including the Branch Mager. Idequate bank staff has become a cause of major concern. Consequently, the people of Kalaigaon have urged the bank authorities to appoint adequate staff so that customers can avail proper banking service.
