IIT-Guwahati Girl Commits Suicide

Guwahati: Nagashree Aithal, a student in IIT Guwahati has allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her hostel room. Aithal had come to study in this technological institute from Karnataka and was enrolled in B.Tech 1st year, Mechanical Engineering.

Police have reached the spot and initiated investigations to find the cause of the incident. In the meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been taken to GMCH for post-mortem.
