Ill-effects of drug use discussed

KOKRAJHAR, June 28: The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Frontier Headquarters, Tezpur observed the Intertiol Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking at its office campus recently. Sources from the headquarter unit said Prasenjit Koch, Staff Officer (Admn) delivered the introductory speech. Speaking on the   occasion, LK Gohain, DIG, SSB, Frontier Head quarter, Tezpur dwelt on the alarming situation due to drug abuse and its ill-effects in the society. zim Ahmed, secretary general, Drug Abuse Information Prevention and Rehabilitation Centre (DAIPARC)  spoke on abuse of drugs and its harmful effects.
