Illegal logs seized

TINSUKIA, July 19: Makum police seized a truck bearing no AS 23E-5318 carrying illegal logs from msai in Aruchal Pradesh on Tuesday and arrested its driver Suraj Phukan. The driver reportedly told the police that he was transporting the highly priced logs to Rohmoria in Dibrugarh district, the cost of which would be several lakhs of rupees.
