Illegal mining banned in Baksa

LBARI, March 24: The district administration of Baksa has imposed an order banning illegal mining in the entire district. Baksa Deputy Commissioner (DC) Binod Seshan said that drastic action would be taken against people involved in carrying sand from the river in Baksa and asked magistrates and the police to take necessary action in this regard. The district administration has also adopted precautiory measures against swine flu.
