Illegal saw mill seized

Bongaigaon, Jan 28: The Anti Corruption and Crime Investigation Association, an NGO, in association with the forest department and Assam Police, busted an illegal saw mill and seized Lali wood valued at around Rs 50,000. A member of the NGO said that the timber was seized from Howligaon area under Howly PS of Barpeta district on Saturday. “We have informed the State Forest Minister also,” he said.
