Illegal timber seized at Tamulpur

Tamulpur, Feb 14: Tamulpur forest seized a large number of illegal timber from the village Ambaeishgar along the Bhutan border on Monday evening.  Following secret information, Ranger of Tamulpur forest range office, Keshab Brahma ordered to launch an operation. Bit officer Pgukan Deka along with a team, cooperated by SSB team of Guwabari, launched an operation and seized a large number of illegal timber and a machine and various materials from the wood mill. The forest party carried the timber and machine to the office of the forest range office of Tamulpur. Ranger Keshab Brahma said that operation was going on throughout the Tamulpur subdivision against illegal timber trade.
