Illicit liquor seized

DEMOW, October 19: Led by Moni Mohan Koch, OC of Demow Police Station, a team of police raided the house of Laba Konwar and Tarun Konwar near Demow at Gajali and seized 3,000 litres of illicit liquor and also found liquid jaggery. According to the sources they were misleading the police and Excise Department and running their business since the last 8-10 years.
