Illicit liquor seized

Sori, April 1: The Charaideo District Excise sleuths intensified raid against illicit liquor in the districts for conducting peaceful Assembly election on April 4.The Excise department team led by Deputy Superintendent Sanjib Saikia conducted raids at Ronga Pather, Kha, Rajapukhuri, Suffrai, Singlopathar, Lakuwa, Bortimon, Borpather, Moran, Dallong and Sapekhati area and seized 1515 liters of fermented wash,190 liters of illicit liquor and 120 liters illicitly distilled liquor and 14 nos liquor manufacturing equipment. Excise department has registered 15 cases against the illicit liquor suppliers.
