'Immense potential for traders in Northeast'

GUWAHATI, October 5: Northeast has a vast untapped market and the vicinity can be explored, this was stated by the Executive Director of Allahabad bank NK Sahoo in Guwahati on Saturday, a press release stated.

Sahoo along with Field General Mager of the bank visited Northeast and interacted with customers on business and other prospects in the region. Stressing on the commitment of the bank towards the region, Sahoo said, “The Guwahati Zone which covers the Northeast have 47 branches in 22 districts. Three more branches are coming up in Meghalaya and Mizoram. He also said that the Guwahati Zone has achieved the status of Bima Zone in September this year.

The release further highlighted the various achievements of the bank under Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yoja, Prime Minister Suraksha Bima Yoja, Atal Pension Yoja, Mudra Scheme and others.
