Implement all social security schemes, demands BJP

Itagar, Oct  4: The East Kameng unit of Bharatiya Jata Party (BJP) has demanded the Seppa branch of State Bank of India to implement all social security schemes launched by the rendra Modi government within 10 days from today.

Informing that failing to implement the schemes within the given time the unit will launch democratic movement against the branch from October 13 next and will call for withdrawal of all the accounts from it.

The social security schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yoja, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yoja, MUDRA yoja etc are for the benefit of the people, it said adding that the branch is not implementing the schemes while citing "irrelevant reasons" like shortage of man power, slow internet connectivity etc.

The SBI being pioneer in the banking sector and having majority of population holding accounts in it, should stand out to the expectation of its customers, the party said.

Informing that the Apex bank at Seppa is implementing PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY, but is not aware of the MUDRA Yoja, the BJP unit has appealed state level authority of the bank to issue directives to its bank mager to also implement the same immediately.
