Imposter apprehended

Dibrugarh, Feb 12: The police apprehended an imposter  who was trying to  receive undue favour from the Dibrugarh University (DU) authority posing himself as an official of RAW (Research and Alysis Wing), Government of India. 

Imposter Prince Chetri, hails from Madhupur Nepali Gaon, Dibrugarh district, according to sources, had approached the DU authority and introduced himself as RAW official. Sources claimed that on Chetri’s visit  to the university on Monday,  the authority sensed  some foul play and immediately informed the police who rushed to the administrative building and apprehended him.

Later, police recovered five identity cards of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, from his possession.  Police seized the cards and his motorbike bearing registration no TSO 9 EH 2505. Police interrogation is on.
