Improve infrastructure of Ledo primary school, demands AJYCP

MARGHERITA, June 11: Asom Jatiyotabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) Margherita Regiol Committee president Salil Neog and general secretary Kanchan Bora have demanded of minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and 124 No Margherita LAC MLA Bhaskar Sharma  to provide all basic amenities to Ledo Kalpara Primary Adarsh School which is in a dilapidated condition. Kanchan Bora said that Ledo Kalpara Adarsha Primary School is one the oldest schools in Ledo Region where total 250 students from different tribes and communities of this region come to get education but due to lack of teachers and poor infrastructure, the students of this school were not getting proper education. “We demand of State Education Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma to appoint five teachers in Ledo Kalpara Adarsha  Primary School and to provide proper infrastructure to the school which is in a dilapidated condition so that the students can get proper education. Again on June 4, AJYCP Margherita Regiol Committee submitted a memorandum to 124 No Margherita LAC  MLA Bhaskar Sharma with five demands such as to open ITI School at Ledo, to repair 2 No Maulang road which is in a pathetic condition, to start the water supply scheme at Udaipur 9 Mile, to start the water irrigation project at Makumkilla, Alubari and Maulang which is not in use for many years and to supply electricity to every area in Margherita region. If within three months the demands are not fulfilled, then AJYCP Margherita Regiol Committee will start an agitatiol programme in Margherita,” said Salil Neog and Kanchan Bora.
