Incessant rain hits normal life

Silchar, June 1: Incessant and heavy rain over the last days has affected normal life of the people of this region. There has been continuous downpour resulting in stagtion of water, inundated and slippery streets. Though the devastating cyclone Mora has badly hit Bangladesh, its affects have been seen here. It has been raining cats and dogs for the last few days. On the flip side, rain has cooled down the hot weather from which the residents have been suffering. The rain accompanied with thunderstorms is likely to continue for a few days more. The weather will mostly be rainy accompanied with thunderstorm. Sometimes, it may be partly cloudy also. Road users, especially commuters are finding it difficult to use the roads. Continuous rain has disrupted normal life of the people and they are living in the constant fear of the cyclone Mora.
