Inclusion of Shankardev in elementary curriculum demanded

BOKAKHAT, September 26: The Rajabari Milan Prathamik of Ek Sharan Bhagawati Samaj Assam has demanded inclusion of Srimanta Shankardev in the curriculum and syllabus for every class in elementary schools of Assam. The Rajabari Milan Prathamik of the Samaj celebrated the birth anniversary of Srimanta Shankardev recently.  On the occasion an open meeting was held where bin Ch. Das, the Headmaster of Rajabari LP School raised this demand. The meeting adopted the proposal and decided to put forward the proposal to the authority concerned for textbook preparation and publication in Assam.
