Income tax raid at two commercial establishments in gaon town

GAON (HAIBORGAON), September 7: Income Tax Department sleuths from Guwahati on Tuesday night raided two commercial establishments situated at Dhakaipatti area in gaon town and seized some objectioble documents from the owners. According to sources, the IT expert team comprising 7-8 officers raided two important commercial establishments - Chanya Stores and Chandmol Jagadish Prashad wholesale shop - situated at Dhakaipatti area in gaon town and also seized various objectioble documents from the possession of the owners. Sources further added that the IT expert team on Wednesday was verifying all those documents till filing of this report and the sources disclosed that on Wednesday night the team would raid some other commercial establishments also.
