Indefinite strike

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), Aug 16:  The All India Gramin Dak Sevak Union (AIGDSU) Golaghat branch called indefinite strike from Wednesday demanding resolution of various problems of the Gramin Dak Sevaks. The members of the organization staged protest in front of Golaghat district head post office demanding resolution of their problems by shouting various slogans. They demanded to implement the GDS committee report, including modifications suggested by AIGDSU, regularization of service, granting of pension to GDS as directed by CAT and to stop forcible and harassment practices on GDS for achievement of targets.
